Functional Approach to Wellness
Dr. Baker’s philosophy is that although the general principles of safe and appropriate hormone therapy are true for all patients, no two people have the same hormone transition or deficit problem, and each therapy plan must be individually tailored to find the most effective, comprehensive, safe, and cost efficient version.
While Dr. Baker’s 30 years of experience encompassing the areas of Family Practice, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Major Surgical Assisting give him a comprehensive understanding of conventional medicine options in health care. He is also well versed in nutritional, herbal, and science-based alternative therapy options.
His goal is to combine all of the applicable options to help patients find the most effective and integrated course of therapy for their healthcare concerns. Dr. Jeffrey Baker takes careful assessment of each patient’s story, including the nuances that make it unique from all the others. He has found that no two patients have the same story, and they rarely need the same treatment. He also promotes pro-active, self-educating, and confident self-care attitudes and actions in his patients.
As he and his patients work together, he feels that they become, to some degree, ‘their own best doctor’ as they learn to listen carefully to their bodies, learn their therapeutic options, and monitor their responses over time. Jeffrey Baker, M.D. always gives the best care to his patients; he looks forward to helping each patient gain as much knowledge, confidence, and autonomy possible in regard to their own healthcare.
Immanuel Clinic also offers IV Nutritional, EDTA chelation, High Dose Vitamin C therapies, and Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy in Northwest, Arkansas.
Dr. Baker is no longer taking patients as a family physician, he is available for consultation on integrative medical therapy options for a wide range of health concerns.
Individualizing bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for both women and men continues to be a significant portion of his consultation practice.
